Join us Wednesday afternoon for a tour of the vineyard followed by tasting.
NB - upon making your way down the tree lined driveway of Chateau de Tiregand, look for the signs for ‘degustation’ which is to the right of the main Chateau de Tiregand. You will continue down a small track for about 1km, where at the end you will find a Troll.
Suggested Itinerary
Having honed the finer details over the past decade, our Blakey would love to share with you one of her (and now Matt's!) favourite day's out.
Get up early and head for Canoe Vacances. It's about 90 mins from Chateau Lacanaud.
Recommended set off time no later than 8am to experience all of the below:
Enroute to the canoe spot, stop at Beynac-et-Cazenac (where the movie 'Chocolat' was filmed) and walk up to the Castle.
Lunch on the river? Yes please. Pick up a French sandwich at Les Gourmandises de Lucco
Meet at Canoe Vacances at 10:30am, to depart at 11am sharp.
A shuttle bus will bring you back to Canoe Vacances at the end of the canoeing trip.
Then head to the most magical of evenings at Marqueyssac Gardins, 7pm - Midnight. Booking tickets highly recommended
Things to pack:
- sun cream
- a cover up (little shade)
- hat
- euros
- water bottle
- evening attire for Jardins de Marqueyssac
*Those involved for the rehearsal dinner will need to head back to Chateau Lacanaud in time for rehearsal kick off at 5pm
What's occurring?
If you know anything about a Krzywicki/Blakemore bash it's organised fun to the max with plenty of pink fizz to help lubricate the vocal chords and loosen up those dancing limbs.
